Wedding Planning Tips... |
For some brides, deciding on how they want to style their hair for their wedding day can be a daunting decision. So we asked the lovely Trisha from Trisha Kilfoyle Wedding Hair to share with us her top tips on prepping your locks for the big day and how to choose a style that will suit your taste and your dress! So ladies, having a tough time deciding on a style to suit your face and dress??? Well it can vary and you may need to try a few different options - even the ones you don't think you like.. The neckline of the dress can help you decide, and one shoulder or strapless will allow you to opt for low styles, or loose wave styles, pinned low. A low back dress will allow for a choice of high up-styles, to show off the back, or curls pinned low to draw the eye to the dress. Some women feel naked with a bare back so if your hair allows some longer loose curls, pinning loose and romantic can be a perfect option. And if you have short hair a lovely blow-dry can make a world of difference! Also the use of a cape or a veil can be a last minute decision. Maybe borrow one to try out before deciding.... Your hair dresser may have some hair jewels which can make the hair pop completely, especially on darker hair, and fresh flowers are superb for a wedding hairstyle. Before the wedding, invest in a good high quality shampoo and mask to replenish and moisturise for the perfect style. Drinking lots of water in the run up to the big day will also help and go easy on the heat processes.... I recommend Alfaparf, Revlon or Joico products to use in advance to help treat your hair and allow it to look as good as possible for your big day!
